Profile

The Aims of the National Council of Women:

. To work to improve the quality of life for all
. To secure the removal of all discrimination against women and to encourage the effective participation of women in the life of the nation
. To work for international understanding and peace
. To act as a co-ordinating body to which societies with similar aims may affiliate
. To provide information and advice and make reasoned representations to Parliament and to any persons, authorities or bodies on any matter affecting the objects of the Council
